Wostok amphibian 17 jewels cal. 2409, stainless steel case with manual movement. The dial represents the design of clocks used in ship’s radio rooms. There are 4 sectors of 3 minutes each: 0-3 and 30-33 minutes in pink and 15-18 and 45-48 minutes in red. Those timeslots are silence periods because they were reserved for distress signals. This particular watch is not a first issue of this model but more likely second or later. However this is still an original Soviet Wostok Radio Room issued in the late 80’s or early 90’s. The watch is desired by collectors and not very common to find.
